Lino over at 90east is hosting Ed, Mike, and Nigel at the shop 2pm Sunday the 21st. There’s gonna be some contests, Animal goodies to give away, and who knows, you might see a switch crook to whip in person…except you won’t because he can’t do that on the 3 grindboxes we have at the shop, but it will still be sick! Come out!

AOTC in Long Island

So this past weekend was the official AOTC Team Retreat in Long Island. Since Chris Z graduated college in Boston and moved back to LI, and CB graduated and moved back to the Cape, and Saunders moved up to NH, not much has been happening. Due to this, CB, Zack and myself drove down to Zep’s new house in Long Island on Friday, with the Bresnahans joining us later Friday night. It was a good weekend of partying and riding with all the Long Island guys. I filmed a little bit, and Jonny Nemecek shot some photos of the twins. As many of you may know we had our world premiere for AOTC 2 at 90east in Boston, MA last night. We got a great turnout and everyone was psyched on the video! I saw some people taking a couple pictures so chances are there will be a post or two online soon. I made a little video of the premiere as well. Check out the video, and order yourself a copy! AOTC UPDATE

We’re in the final stages of filming, and once BMXFU leaves again this weekend, the final DVD is getting finished up and sent to the duplicators. The premiere is tentatively set to be June 3rd and 90east in somerville MA. Be there!

BMXFU Weekend

Chuck, Daggs, Krupa, Orbell, and Eric Marshall of the infamous BMXFU crew came down to Boston this past Wednesday night to chill and ride for the weekend. I wasn’t around too much during the week but I know lots of heavy riding, filming, drinking, and partying went down, which always makes for a solid trip. On Saturday, which was way too rainy for my liking, I drove over to Chris Z HQ to pack up some bikes and people into my car and troop it up to Rye for the 6-9 session. As always though, we got started late, so by the time the ten of us (Chuck, Daggs, Krupa, Orbell, Eric, Chris, CB, Nick, Tolley, and myself) made it up there it was already nearing 7. Luckily though, Chuck and Chris had talked to the dudes up there and we all ended up getting in for free under the premise that we film an edit for ESPN. We didn’t even start filming until 8 o’clock, but when the session ended at 8:45, the guys at Rye let us keep riding for about an hour after the place closed, which was dialed. Clocked tons of clips of everyone, and also almost got banned from the park, expect that edit soon.

After the session, we all went back to Chris Z’s to chill. Topics of discussion included: UN (krupa) vs. Circ (everyone else), twitter terrorism, and just how dead we all were to Eric. It was definitely a good time, I think Chris did his usual time-lapse thing so there will probably be a really stupid time lapse of us being idiots, not to mention the go-pro was everywhere all week.
